Revenge of Antonio and Culvert Problems (Event)

- Revenge of Antonio -

Jolly old Saint Nick, who resides in Lutie, is hiring bodyguards to help him with his X-Mas run this year. He said he has received numerous letters of threats from his old stalker, "Antonio." Nick claims that Antonio has been after him ever since he got fired from the Toy shop, and to that, Santa claimed "he wasn't producing the toys as fast as the elves were. After he was fired, he somehow caused the Cookies and Toy Soldiers to go mad, and ruined my toy factory! Also, he is the one who created that dreadful Stormy Knight!" Many adventurers, since, have clamied they have slain the dreadful Antonio, but year after year, he has always escaped the moment of death, and returns to this merry season to strike fear and terror to all the good little boys and girls. The reason Old Jolly is particularily frightened this year is because he walked out to his barn to find one of his reindeer, Prancer, chopped up by a meat-cleaver. " I can't even use my sliegh this year," he said. "My deer are still in shock, but who can blame them? Prancer had always been the older-brother role-model for the rest of them..."

How will Santa deliver his toys this year? Nothing is fast enough to get him to every single town. His only hope would be a Priest, Acolyte, or Monk who could help him teleport from house to house... but can Santa afford all of those gems? With only a week from X-mas... Only time will tell. Santa is currently in hiding in a secret location known to a limited few, such as your faithful reporter, Cazwik. His replacement, in the meantime, is one brave mall santa to cover his usual place untill the terror of Antonio is put down.

Prontera Officials are calling all adventurers from all around to take care of a mean beast of a creature known as the Golden Thief Bug. Reports have been coming in one after another from parents of Novices who train there that their loved child is missing. To take care of this , Prontera is calling and appling for adventurers from all over the Rune-Midgard Kingdom. Regardless of Class or Experience, the warrior with the winning blow (MVP) will receive 500,000 zeny! For more information on this, please read the posters located around town to find out more. Adventurers will be lined up and picked out from the officials. More to come.

Party out of control!, Jawaii Bar Saved

-Party Out Of Control!-

Last night, AnimaRO Daily's Cazwik and AceJay threw a party at Jawaii's Bar. At first it was going okay, then to get more people to show up and have a good time, he asked a Public Annoucement be made that the party was being held. Over 400 people attended and things were getting out of control; monsters were being spawned and fights were breaking out. It was to much for Cazwik and AceJay to handle. Government Officials were called to the scene. Delphine casted a Portal that sent trouble makers deep into Niffleheim. After things died down, the party went on. There were trivia events, giveaways, and gambling! Even though it died down a bit, there were still many unusual incidents.

-Jawaii Bar Saved?-

Back in the olden days, there was a place called Morroc Inn.

This was way back when...

People from all over Rune-Midgard would come to the Old Morroc Inn after a long bloody battle at the Pyramids. The old innkeep always welcomed adventurers and they would just sit for hours and talk about their journies. However, one day, the Morroc Inn was closed due to many adventurers moving on to the newly built towns and searching new areas. One day, however, back in 2002, a young Acolyte tried to open the old Inn back up in Morrac. His start was good but only old adventurers came, and couldn't stay long due to the fact that most the action they thirsted for was far, far away... You can see a archieved story here.

Kapra, the Acolyte, was forced to close down his 2 Inns and he was never heard from again. Some say he went back and tried to become a swordsmen again while others say he just drank himself to depression. It was a sad day when it was gone; all hope seemed lost. Adventurers today mainly hang out where the wind takes them. If they are fighting the Demons in Amatsu... Well they are in Amatsu City, With the exception of Rune-Midgard's capitol, Prontera. Some adventurers however don't like going to Prontera a lot due to all the people; it's hard to get through. Hopefully with the extention of Alberta as a Capitol, Prontera will clear out a bit.

There are still some others however who would like for there to be one place to go to and tell some stories with others as they did in the old Morroc Inn. A place where all come from all around to meet and have a nice time after a long hard day of hunting and battle.

After my wedding I went up and saw the Bar built in Jawaii. It was wonderful. However I looked and there was no one around! So I went up and talked to the Barkeep, named "Boss." He said his buisness was going downhill. The only customers he had were the ones that got married; they would come, get a few drinks, and leave to their suite. "Sure," he said, "it keeps the place running because people are getting married all the time, but there are weeks I go without money..If this continues, I'll have to shut it down." So then I had the idea to run a few parties there. If you were at the last 2 parties, you saw the outcome. Last night after the party I looked at the barkeep while cleaning my mess and apolgized for the trouble. He looked at me with bright eyes and thanked me for all the buisness he got that night. Since then, there are a few regulars who come in and have a drink or two every night. Some even hang out all day. Lusario, one of the regulars, had this to say: "This is a great place to chill with friends and guilds alike." Boss couldn't be happier. He gets enough money from his regulars to keep his bar running, and some cash left over to treat himself out once in awhile. So if you and your friends find yourself sitting around and doing nothing, hop on over to the Jawaii Bar. To get there, just ask the Warp Kafra in town, she'll give you a free ride to Jawaii, then just look southwest from there!

Hunters everywhere have been protecting there Falcons. Why? Well it seems that adventurers are searching Rune-Midgard for a turkey for Thanksgiving and the falcon's are all they can get. Reported from a Swordsman who was reported for tring to sneak a bird from a hunter said this "What are we supposed to give our familys? A Picky? Condor? They don't have enough meat!" Hunters everywhere should be advised that these Adventures are out for some bird meat!

It seems the government has decided to move the merchants to a new black market - but which ? Official Faith has suggested that it be moved to Alberta where the merchant guild is orginally located, however, other players have voiced Izlude or Morroc as other suggestions... some have even voted that it should remain Prontera.

The return of AceJay, AnimaRO Daily Chief hosting new guild, and Dancer Ad!

-The Return of AceJay-

It was a sad day when AceJay passed away. It seems he died of poison caused by a Posion Spore that he never took care of. However, a few adventures in mourning decided to search for the Legendary Yggdrasil Leaf rumored to be hidden in the cold land of Luite. After a long day and they thought all was lost, when, out of nowhere, Stormy Knight appeared. The party was forced to defend themselves and even though they were beaten and bruised harshly, Stormy Knight dropped a Yggdrasil Leaf which the Priest quicky grabbed and warped everyone to town safely. They then headed to Prontera Church where AceJay was buried. After digging up his body, the party laid the leaf on the dead body. After a few minutes, AceJay was cured of the poison that killed him and returned to the world. He now plans to do a very large amount of events to celebrate his revival, and to continue on helping the needy.

-Dancer Advertisement-

The Dancer "Leine" gave me a letter wanting to advertise her buisness.She is a Dancer who dances for wedding ceremonies. She is also currently looking for a Bard to partner up with her. For more information, contact Leine.


-AnimaRO Daily Chief Starts Guild-

A guild has been formed by Cazwik, the Chief of AnimaRO Daily. He wishes to start a friendly Guild for people of all skill levels. This guild will help Novices, and each other gain their way to the top. If you wish interested or have any questions, please contact Cazwik.

-Town Offcials Calling for help-

It is rumored that the towns of Prontera, Geffen, Payon, and Morroc are looking for parties to help them calm the dungeons and castles. The Mayor of Payon keeps reporting a mysterious chime heard deep in the caves, while King Tristan is concerned about the bug population growing in Prontera Culverts...We'll report more on this story as it comes to us.

A night full of weddings! Alibye and JingMei

-Wedding of Alibye and JingMei!-


These two were gathered last night (November 12th) in the Prontera Chapel as husband and wife. It seems this was the wedding of two guild members of (DOA)Alibye/Blaze. Hopefully these two will share a wonderful life together. Good luck to both!

-Wedding of Cazwik and .Aradia!-

AnimaRO Daily's very own Cazwik was wed with his fiance, .Aradia last night as well. The wedding took place at the Prontera Chapel around 12:45 am EST. Cazwik's best man was none other then AceJay, while the bride's..."attendant" was St. Serenity. The church ushers seated quite a bit of people. Some to attend were tgun, presence, Rick Ross, Daniven, StarCharmer, Aidan, jibberish, ~Michiru~, and GM "The Queen" Delphine!

After the ceremony, GM Delphine teleported everyone to Jawaii for the couple's honeymoon. There a few of the people at the wedding went to the bar and just drank it up. After that, Presence and jibberish took the newlyweds gambling in Comodo, and finally showed them back to there new home in Jawaii, where Cazwik, .Aradia, and Presence sat for nearly 2 hours drinking coffee and playing cards. The couple plan to adopt but want to wait intill Aradia is a Priest and has more time in her life.

GM Scandal and New Orphanage

-Government official seen in street clothes!-

Our Government's very own GM "The Queen" Delphine was accused of being an imposter, today, when she was seen wearing the White-smith oufit in Hugel. It seems she just wanted a moment of peace to go do some shopping. When she was requested for her GM-ID, she found that she had misplaced it, and was not able to convince everyone that she was the owner of her credit card. The scandal was soon put to a close when our GM Delphine muted a few of the accusers who had turned rather aggresive with their magic inside the city.
Shortly after, a witness claims he was actually in GM Delphine's house, attempting to help her find the missing IDs. Not only was it distressing news to find that it was missing, it seems that a few other GMs such as Harken and Debbie had also 'misplaced' their ID.

It seems that this person really was our fair GM Delphine... I feel sorry for that store who doubted her! In the meantime, Government officials are working on solving the mystery of the 'Missing IDs' and would like to remind you that they still wield GM power while appearing to be in ordinary clothes.

-Orphanage Opening!-

The government has recently funded a home for the orphans. The case arose because they are becoming over filled with children that want to be adopted. A quick scan in the streets of Prontera show that there are far too many orphans wanting parents than there are couples. Police cracking down on Vendors, Harrassment, and Looters!

-Vendor Violators being punished-

Captspanky was reported being hauled off to prison for vending in the middle of the street in Prontera. "I just don't get it , I saw other vendors selling on the street , I thought I could too..." He was held for 2,000 minutes and considered warned. We encourage vendors to spread out in more cities so everyone gets a spot to sell.

It seem a lovly couple was in Santa's corrupted Toy Factory when the husband , Vex, got knocked out. The wife politly asked if a nearby preist could ressurect her husband , and they instead raped him. Their Crime is still being determined.

-Alchemist plant killing is out of control!-

Recently, the incidents of illegal killing of alchemist plants has risen drastically. Alchemists, please be aware of this, and try not to summon plants in extremely overpopulated areas. You may also put up a chat room stating not to kill your plants. For people who are not aware, these plants are created by Alchemists to help them level. It costs them quite a bit of zeny as well as time. An easy way to identify Alchemist-cultivated plants is to look at the plant's name. If it matches the name of an alchemist in the area, then let it be.

Wedding crashers, AceJay's death, and St. Serenity's return!

-The Wedding of Squirtle and -Dr. Tran--

Squirtle and Dr. Tran were married tonight at Prontera Church. The wedding itself had a pretty merry crowd.



The event had a few 'crashers' who didn't see fit that these two should be married, and tried to hold the wedding guests and couple hostage!











The people crashing the wedding were none other then a Priest and a Gunslinger who claimed that the groom was no good for the bride.




As soon as the ceremony was over, the bride and groom were held against their will at the chapel... but that didn't seem to keep the bride from enjoying her wedding night!~

So, in the end, these two were happily married.... The couple is still unsure of kids, but we wish them the best of luck!~

-The death of AceJay-

It is sad to say AceJay has deceased from old age...his will was left for adventurers to carry on his kind deeds towards the entire Kingdom of Rune-Midgard.
(Deceased usually means the player quit, or in this case, retired temporarily)

-St. Serenity's return to AnimaRO!-

We recently recieved a letter from St. Serenity, who was pronounced missing last week:

"Whether you've heard it or not, I will indeed be staying on the AnimaRO server. I'm currently looking into starting a new class for myself to expand my knowledge past just the Priest class. We'll see however.I'll update once a few events come to my attention worth mentioning. If you have anything to submit, drop me a line via a comment here or in-game on St. Serenity, ~ Serenity ~ or Chibinity. :)"

It's good to hear that he's back!
